Relatively affordable, quite close to Keraton "palace" Yogyakarta, offering shuttle to/from airport is a big plus. Hotel and room are clean, comfort bed with free wifi in lobby

I like that the hotel staff are very attentive. They gave us call in the morning to check if we're gonna have breakfast or not and reminded us that they close breakfast at certain hours. When we arrived later in the afternoon, they also checked on our arrival time.

We can get early breakfast (at 6 am) since we have to depart early in the morning.

The room is very small, not soundproof, very noisy when poeple walk through the corridor and the door sounds loud when opened. We get 2 rooms, but 1 room have no window at all. Cleanliness is poor.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had several requests that they filled quickly and pleasantly--for extra pillows, coathangers, even an extra chair for the room. The desk clerks as well as the kitchen staff went out of their way to make us feel "at home." We would like to thank them for their kindnesses.

The room did not appear to have been carefully cleaned. There were long hairs on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom. The sink in the bathroom is very small with no place to put toiletries, and no shower curtain, so the bathroom floor was wet after each shower. Folding racks for suitcases would be very helpful so that baggage doesn't have to be placed on the floor. The breakfast 'buffet" was limited in choice. Fruit was arranged for us as a special treat, but was not on the buffet as a matter of course.

Pleasant and courteous staff. Handled all our requests promptly. Cheap and same-day laundry services.

Free WiFi only in lobby. Hotel is within spitting distance to Water Castle and a 5-minute andong ride to Jalan Malioboro but many locals not aware of this hotel and we got lost everytime.

Buffet breakfast - all choices cooked in advance and left to become cold on the buffet table. Terrible coffee and poor quality juice. Exchange rate on USD used to calculate room rate - room was advertised at $35 per night on Booked.net but because of the Rupiah rate used which bore no relation to reality, actual paid price was $37 per night (room had to be paid in Rupiah).

Staff are generally friendly and helpful except for the driver.

Housekeeping leaves much to be desired as no housekeeping was done in my three nights' stay there.

The rate is affordable. Very cheap, 30 dollar for 1 night with breakfast. That's all I can think of.

There wasnt any curtain in the shower. And the heater sometimes was off. And there wasnt enough space to park my car.

The towels, despite having been washed and smelled good, had spots that gave him a dirty look. I asked to switch but all had the same problem.
